West-end boy . . .

The main issue I have with with West-End clubs is the reason people are there. I used to LURVE it. When I first hit London, they were great: Glitz, Glam & there WERE good nights ::: but now . . . party-goers go to TRY and look COOOOOL, DJs think it's acceptable to MiX pony tracks like SH*T. The atmosphere feels soul-less and people are dancing to get noticed; not because they f*cking LOVE IT! There's no passion. . . . Perhaps it has always been like that and I was all Rose-Tinted glasses upped, but anyways . . .

. . . This leads me onto one of the few DJs who gets it. DJ Dan Browne has been hitting the West End scene for over the last 5 years - starting back with Hip-Hop playing NYT and following this with the likes of Pangaea, China White, Pascha, Tamangang, Mamalanji, Kensington Roof Gardens, Cafe de Paris and more . . . this is either mighty ImPressive or Sell-Out; depending on your apparent pre-conceptions, but either way - give a guy a CHANCE and check out his podcast : DJ Dan Browne
There is something for everyone; HIP-HOP : ROCK : M*SH UP : ELECTRO : GRIME : on & on & on . . . . His mixing; imPECCABLE, track selection; TASTY, and most importantly he gives a SH*T & tries new things; CHECK::::

A cheeky little mash-up of Obama's inauguration speech backed by the EPIC 'Adagio for Strings' by the one & only DJ Tiesto.

As always . . . ENJOY x

*** DJ Dan Browne currently plays ***
::: Friday Night - Cafe de Paris :::
::: Saturday Night - Taman Gang :::
. . . so if you're in London town; check him out . . .
